Gas Light

Gas Light (sh. Plinsko svjetlo) je kazališni komad britanskog pisca Patricka Hamiltona, premijerno izveden u Londonu 1938. godine. Protagonisti su Jack Manningham i njegova supruga Bella, koji žive u Londonu 1880-ih. Radnja prikazuje seriju neobičnih incidenata kojima svjedoči Bella, ali nakon kojih je Jack nastoji uvjeriti da gubi razum; u stvarnosti je Jack ubica koji se oženio za Bellu samo da se dočepa tamo skrivenih dragulja.

Predstava je doživjela veliki uspjeh i godine 1940. u Britaniji bila adaptirana u film pod naslovom Gaslight. Godine 1942. je predstava pod naslovom Angel Street prikazana na Broadwayu gdje je imala još veći uspjeh. Godine 1944. je u SAD George Cukor režirao novu filmsku verziju koja je nagrađena s dva "Oscara".
